Intention
I created First Sip Coffee Co. with the intention of spreading that feeling you get when you first open a packet of coffee. The warmth that flows through your lungs, the aromas that fill your nose, all leading to that awakening sensation where you know it’s going to be a good day. 
With some research, I found that the most consumed beverage in Canada was coffee and that the consumers prefer to make their coffee “at home” rather than buying it. So I wanted the function of this advertisement to sell the product of First Sip Coffee Co. to these consumers. With subtle calls to action, I established a brand that is more concerned about providing an experience rather than selling a product. 
Some of the experiences are visually represented exploding out of the bean such as warmth, aromas, happiness, and other elements related to coffee inviting the viewers to try the experience of tasting this brand’s coffee.
Animation
Additionally, I intended for the video to act as an extension of the static poster that can entice a newer demographic. The simple yet upbeat movements served to be easy to follow as well as non-distracting in order to maintain the brand loyalty of minimalism. ​​​​​​​
