Why Rondowoods?
Let's break it down.
"Rondo" describes a type of orchestral form or song structure and "woods" refers to the scenic view of the country.
The combination of these two sound like the French word “rendezvous” and since French, along with English and Kinyarwanda, is one of the official languages of Rwanda, a word-play was created to attract the city locals to this event.
Further Inspiration
I used this mural painting to produce a non-Eurocentric advertisement.
By utilizing geometric shapes and bright colors I wanted to naturally evoke a sense of familiarity to attract an audience for this event.
